Tricia Wang's TED talk references the false sense of knowledge we gain from big data, in some ways similar to the ideas of data fundamentalism introduced in earlier modules. She believes that not all systems are as neatly contained as we would like. Inspired by disciplines in the humanities such as sociology, anthropology and psychology, Ms. Wang suggests in this engaging talk that there is value in looking outside of market dynamics and big data in our quest to understand human behavior. After watching her talk, please respond to the prompt.
What lessons are here in Tricia Wang's TED talk for data professionals and organizational leaders? Please provide examples from the talk to support your thoughts and positions in your answer.
