Week 5 Assignment: Short Paper

Write a short paper about two ancient Alexandria scholars in two different fields underlining the following points: (Make sure to choose two different scholars from the ones you studied in class.)

• Why did you choose these two figures?
• Why do you think they had a great impact in antiquity and on today’s world?
• Also, analyze the circumstances and the life of the two scholars that helped or motivated them to be great figures in Alexandrian Tradition history.

• Create a clear and logical structure for your arguments and present them coherently and appropriately.
• Wrap up with one or two-paragraph conclusions emphasizing the key concepts that were discussed in the paper and the results that were obtained.
• Use images, illustrations, and tables to clarify the ideas of the text (not counted with the number of pages).

The paper should include:

Justify your stance on a particular viewpoint, whether it is in support or opposition. Make sure your arguments are logically structured and presented.
• Conclusion. In this section, you reiterate in the reader's mind all the key concepts that were discussed in the paper and the results that were obtained, along with future possibilities for further research.
