Reading Questions
Privacy used to be "the right to be let alone." Today we might define privacy as "the rules we have and the morals we aspire to honor as a society in the collection, use and disclosure of personal information." You have learned a lot about the rules in this module (e.g. GDRP, U.S. Constitutional rights, intentional torts, the FTC, the CCPA).
Based on what you have read and learned, do you think privacy is bad for business? Refer to the article Four Privacy Myths (pages 29-36) to begin. Please use as many examples as you like from the other readings and materials in this module to answer the question.
