Presentation Tools
There are a number of ways to create voiceover presentations. These can be made using the suggested tools below. You are welcome to use voice only with your slides or, if you prefer, you can use an accompanying video of yourself talking. The most important thing to remember is your presentation must be in video format so that it can be uploaded to Canvas Studio and shared with the rest of the class (see Canvas Studio Guides below). No matter which tool you decide to use, I suggest you try out a short test version and upload it to Canvas Studio to make sure everything will work well ahead of time. Please Note: PowerPoint slides with inserted narration and saved as PowerPoint or PDF will not work.
ZOOM |
You may already be familiar with Zoom as a way to conduct online meetings, but it can also be an easy tool for quickly recording your screen and audio. All you need is your SU Zoom account

Download Voiceover Presentations with Zoom.pdf. If you want to show multiple presenters, you will be able to do that in Zoom if everyone is in the meeting and has audio/visual access.
SPARK |
Adobe Spark is a free, easy-to-learn tool that can be used to make video presentations from slides that you voice over. You can also collaborate with others so that multiple people can contribute. To get started, go to spark.adobe.com, sign up and then choose video > slideshow > start from scratch as the type of project you want to create. Spark will give you quick tips to get started. Once you have finished your video presentation in Spark, it can be downloaded and then uploaded into Canvas Studio to be shared with the class.
CANVAS STUDIO |
