Paper: How to become a better listener

Write a thoughtful, one page paper doing a self-assessment of your listening strengths and areas in which you can improve. Demonstrate candor and thoughtfulness about your skills and abilities. Include any relevant, applicable examples.

You can earn up to 50 points. Before you write and submit your assignments, please carefully read the associated rubric. Submit only as Microsoft Word or an RTF document.

Please bring a copy of your paper to share and discussion, not to turn in.

Late penalties are as follows:

0-2 hours late: 10% penalty

2-6 hours late: 20% penalty

6-12 hours late: 25% penalty

12-24 hours late: 30% penalty

After 24 hours papers and/or other assignments will be accepted but there will be an automatic 50% deduction.

Special Note: Late papers, or papers in lieu of attendance are NOT accepted.
