Topic Presentation (7-10 minutes)
After delving into more detail on your topic, you’re then asked to give a virtual presentation to your discussion group and listen to your group members' presentations as well. You will do this by creating slides and recording your comments in a prezi presentation Links to an external site. that your peers to view and comment upon.
Using Prezi
For detailed instructions on doing a prezi with audio, view the following guides they have created:
Create 'Slides': You can do this a couple of ways. You can create frame and paths directly in prezi Links to an external site.or you can import slides from powerpoint Links to an external site.. It's up to you how many paths you want to create between frames/slides. You can create a presentation that simply has a slide for 1) The general topic, 2) book review, 3) artifact ideas for your final paper, and 4) concepts you might you to analyze it. Or you can create a much more detailed series of paths - up to you. See these sample slides Links to an external site. for an idea of what to include.
Add Sound to Your Prezi Links to an external site.: For this, you are primarily interested in learning how to create audio over each 'path' and 'add a voiceover to path step.' (no need to add background music unless you want to). Make sure you read the entire tutorial - at the end, there is a list of programs that will easily allow you to record your audio files and upload them into your prezi.
If you need further assistance, review any of the prezi tutorials Links to an external site. or send me a message.
