Module Seven Overview

Hacking

It is tempting to think of hacking as bad, because it is usually disruptive, not to mention that fighting it is the very reason this program exists! But it is complicated. For one thing, hackers generally, even if they are breaking the law, think of themselves as ethical. This gives rise to a plethora of terms: white hats, black hats, grey hats, hacktivists, pen testers and script kiddies. And then there is the issue of what to do when your organization is hacked. The purpose of this module is to give you the opportunity to formulate your views on these issues.
