The MNPL Capstone Projects
The Capstone projects are a core component of the Master of Nonprofit Leadership program. In the last quarter of the program, students design original research on an issue or opportunity within the nonprofit sector. Students work independently, with support from faculty and peers, to research and analyze an issue, identify the decision-makers or audience affected by that issue, communicate findings, and make final recommendations for improvement. At the end of the quarter, students submit a written report and present your findings and recommendations to a public audience.
This spring, three students are conducting capstone research. You can visit their webpages and learn more about their individual projects.
All of the projects have been approved and are guided by the ethics outlined by the SU Institutional Review Board. All participation in capstone research is voluntary. If you have questions about participating in the research, please contact the lead faculty, Maureen Emerson Feit, at feitm@seattleu.edu.
Students will be presenting the results of their research on campus on Saturday, June 1, 2024. Registration for the presentations will open in May.
