Working with Canvas Pages
One of Canvas' most useful tools is a content page. Pages allow you to convey all kinds of information: text, images, videos, embedded interactive media, as well as links to other pages and sites. But, best of all, when you use pages within a module, Canvas automatically puts the pages in sequence with "Next" and "Previous" buttons so that you can create a compelling narrative. At CDLI, we love pages, (though granted, Canvas' text editor does leave something to be desired).
On the next few pages you will find ideas and examples of working with different page setups:
- Pages with mostly text (and maybe a picture or two).
- Solutions for using images that contain text but might not be accessible.
- Pages that mostly house videos.
- Pages with embedded media.
- And a section about finding and using images that are copyright compliant.
