Design Great Assignments and Activities
Assignments are a substantial part of any course, whether it's offered online or in a physical classroom. Some common assignment types have tools in Canvas that make facilitating them easier. Those tools are Assignments, Discussions, and Quizzes (these aren't the only ones, but they're often the meat and potatoes). In this module we feature some exemplary assignments created by your colleagues. In addition, we will cover the basics of Assignments and Discussion activities, touch on group work and Quizzes, and provide some food for thought that will help you figure out what shape these activities might take in your course.
