Check Your Course Before You Launch

It is always a good idea to conduct a final course check before your course goes live. During normal times, CDLI is responsible for reviewing all fully online courses to ensure compliance with the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement and NWCCU standards. But these aren't normal times and the Department of Education has suspended those regulations until January 1, 2021--though they will be reinstated at some time in the future.

CDLI reviews are a time-consuming process that require two reviewers to check everything, write review notes, and then re-review once revisions have been made. However, for this module, you will be reviewing your own course using a revised version of the normal process. The first part of the checklist is nearly identical to the questions instructors fill out before they submit their courses for review. The second part of the checklist is set up to help you walk through your course and make sure everything is in order.
