Welcome to the CDLI Idea Factory
Dear colleagues, we are very grateful for all of the hard work you have done to get 1000+ distance courses up and running for Seattle University during the beginning of the coronavirus outbreak. For the first two weeks of this quarter CDLI has been focused on helping faculty transition to distance learning and small crisis mitigation, but as we move further into the quarter we know that many of you will be looking for more ideas about teaching at a distance. To that end, we have put together a number of resources we think you will find useful as you begin building your courses for summer and (possibly) fall.
These resources include:
- Activity & Assignment Design with ideas for interweaving synchronous and asynchronous activities.
- Course Templates with step-by-step guides for personalizing.
- Video Production and Sharing that includes instructions for creating video quizzes.
- Canvas Tips
- Compliance Checks for accessibility and copyright.
- How to Get that Ignatian Vibe in Your Course where you will also find some ideas from fellow faculty.
As always, let us know if you have any questions or suggestions: cdli@seattleu.edu
We look forward to seeing what you create!
