Importing Only a Homepage or a Course Overview Section
If you already have a course built out and just want a homepage template you can visit the CDLI Responsive Templates site, which has a number of homepage templates along with instructions for using them. These are simple to use as it is only a matter of creating a Canvas page, copying the code from the Template site, and then pasting that code into the HTML view of the editor.
Some faculty have asked to import just the Course Information Module they have seen in our course templates. To do this, just download the .imscc file for just the Course Information Module below. You can then import it by following the Import instructions on the Get a Course Template page at the beginning of this module.
If you want just a Homepage of one of the three templates listed on the Get a Course Template, you can do that by clicking on the download links below and importing the .imscc file for just the homepage below. You will then need to link information on your new homepages following the instructions on the Personalize Your Template page.
