Slow Down to Listen

Dr. Katherine Raichle PhD. teaches undergraduate courses in Intro Psych, Statistics and Research Methods, Health Psychology and Senior Seminar. She is also the Associate director of Teaching and Learning in the Center for Faculty Development. Her primary research includes examining psychological and systemic factors that facilitate or hinder faculty to use effective pedagogical practices in the classroom.

2. Reflection : Is listening a bridge between people by way of diminishing fear?

3. Activity:  Is listening a path that could move us towards social change?   An agent for social justice? Is listening empowering for the listener? Discuss this with a partner.
