CENTERING WISDOM

  1. ReflectionWhat would you define as technology? What is it about it that makes it a technology? What isn't a technology? Are computers the only technology moving forward?

  2. Reflection: Phaedrus shows Socrates disparaging the technology of the day, books. How do you see this in today's society? How do you see the inverse, the praising of technology? Can these cause problems?

  3. Activity:  Choose a piece of technology you use everyday. Think about the people that went into its' design, manufacture, and transportation to you. How can we fully value the worth of technology that we use everyday?
