Take a look at the Authentic Assessment page in this module and peruse the Example Assignments. Also, consider the information on the Motivating by Design page.

Are there any assignment ideas that emerge from from our work that would engage your students and support your Understanding by Design work? What about some of the stumbling blocks you identified during the Empathy Mapping exercise? Do you have any new ideas for getting around those to help students grasp the material? Are there any ideas that excite you, something that you would like to try out? 

Your task will be to come up with a draft of a major assignment or a set of scaffolded assignments that we can work on together at our next meeting.
