Studio is a video creation-storage-interactive tool that you (and your students) can access directly from Canvas. Studio does a lot of things that formerly required tools external to Canvas. You can create webcam videos (your talking head), screen-capture videos (what you are doing on your screen) and videos that merge both webcam with screen-capture. One of its most promising features is the ability to place your video (or a YouTube Video) on a Canvas page within a comment space. Students can then have a time-stamped discussion directly over the video. Studio also has a Quiz feature that is still in Beta. However, eventually the quiz feature will be integrated with the Canvas Gradebook. Below are a couple of examples:
