Padlet
Padlet is a space where students can post ideas, share all kinds of media, comment and "like" each other's posts. It is an easy and intuitive contribution space; it's great for sharing presentations. Padlet also has the advantage that it can be used anonymously. Padlets are easy to set up and embed in Canvas spaces. They allow you to customize the look in terms of the background (you can upload your own photo) and the layout. Padlets can be free form; locked to a grid; presented much like a blog; or attached to a header in a shelf layout. You can also let people draw link lines between posts. Below are just a few examples of the many ways to use Padlet.
BASIC PADLET |
Example of people sharing what they've found around a common theme. Multiple types of media will play directly within Padlet.
SHELF PADLET |
In a Shelf layout, posts are lined up under headers. This is a nice way for identifying projects and having people sign up for topics that interest them. Padlet allows for rating, liking, and commenting.
