MEETING 7: What We'll Do
For this meeting, we will continue working on your module as needed. Usually the first module is one where all of the complications pop up so we want to make sure all of those are cleared up before building out the rest of the course. Just to clarify, a completed module is one in which the module landing page is has an overview section along with links to the relevant materials and activities; where content pages are finished; videos embedded; discussion and assignment prompts are written and the methods of assessment is clear. Completing your first module is a milestone in the course development process.
What to Bring
- The work you have been doing in your module along with any questions that surfaced since we last met.
What We'll Do
- We will continue to build out and polish up your module.
- Afterwards we will begin thinking about the overview text for all of your other module landing pages. How can you make those engaging and relevant, exciting students about the work ahead? If there is time, we will draft some ideas.
What to Do Before We Meet Again
- Next time we meet we will complete all of the module landing pages so draft language for the overview section for each week.
