Code Cheats

At CDLI, we don't have any expectation you should have to know any kind of coding. And frankly, Canvas strips out all kinds of code. However, there are some situations where it comes in handy to know just a few code tricks to make things look marginally better. One is the ability to slim horizontal lines between sections. These lines are called 'horizontal rules', or 'hr'.  Another is to wrap text around an image. And the third is to be able to change the width of your videos so they all line up nicely on the page. We'll cover these in the next three pages.
