Visualizing Your Student

Now that you have done the Empathy Mapping Exercise, it can help to imagine a specific student, someone you can visualize and give a name to. Visualizing a specific student will help you concretize your audience and provide a way of looking at your course's effectiveness through the lens of that specific student. This doesn't have to mean a real student that you already know, but one you can imagine. However, visualizing a student isn't always as easy as it sounds; most people find that it is helpful to find an image that resonates with them and then give that student a name. If you would prefer to use a cartoon image, feel free to use any of the images below.
