  1. Share your student persona with your partner to familiarize them with the characteristics of your target student.

  2. Show your partner your project, pointing out the design features you incorporated to address your persona student's particular needs. However, don't be too wordy in your explanation. Your partner should be able to understand your project without much guidance. If they can't, that is useful information for you to take away.

  3. Review your partner's project. Every project is different and thus we do not have a standard set of things to review. However, the following are guiding questions that will get you started.

  • Did the item grab your attention?
  • Were directions written clearly and concisely; did you know what you were supposed to do?
  • Did you know what you were supposed to get out of the activity; did you know the objective?
  • Did it stimulate recall of information you already knew?
  • Were navigational elements clearly labeled and consistent?
  • Was information chunked and organized in a logical way?
  • Were you given an opportunity to practice?
  • Were resources or feedback provided so you could evaluate your success?
  • Was the item visually appealing?
