Setting Your Password and Logging in

You should have received an email from Wordpress@cdlihosting.com containing your SU ID (your username). Save this email because it contains a link to your Wordpress site (the second link in the email).

To begin, click the first link in the email to set your Wordpress password.

If you can't find this email in order to set up your account, look in your Junk and Clutter email folders. If you still can't find this email please contact cdli@seattleu.edu.

 

Delete the default password, enter your new password, and click Reset Password.

You will see a Log in link after resetting your password. Click this link, which will take you to the page that you will use to log into your site. Enter your SU ID (username), your newly created password, and then click Log in.

Make sure to bookmark this login URL. It includes your name and will look something like this: http://cdlihosting.com/your_name/wp-login.php.

 

The wordpress@cdlihosting.com email you received to set your account password also contains this login link.

 

Upon logging in will see your Wordpress Dashboard. One the left [1] you will see different ways to administer your site, and on the top [2] you will see the +New button for making new blog posts.
