Will You Use Paper, the Flow Planner (or Both)?
As mentioned on the previous page, this quarter we are offering two different ways to build your course map. The first way is what we have traditionally done: on paper. We give you a large sheet of paper and access to lots of colored stickies in various sizes and shapes. You build out your course map with these materials. Stickies are great because they allow you to easily change things around.
The second way is to use our new Flow Planner. In Week 3, after the card game, we provided a link to the Flow Map. The Flow Map provides lots of ideas for activities at every step of the way and allows you to see the pros and cons of those activities online versus face-to-face. If you liked that tool then you may want to try the Flow Planner Links to an external site., which has all of the activities from the Flow Map and allows you to quickly put those activities into a module format much like Canvas.
You may also want to use both a paper map and the Flow Map/Flow Planner - whatever works best for you.
