Captioned Videos

Videos in online courses must be captioned. Luckily videos you upload into the ‘My Media’ section of Canvas Links to an external site. are automatically captioned. Auto-generated captions are up to 80% accurate. The following introduces the steps for editing these machine-created captions.

The caption complete tag circled in the image below indicates that auto captions have been created. To modify the captions, you can use the Cielo24 Customer Edit tool. To access it, go to My Media and either click the title or thumbnail of the video.

Next, click the Actions [1] dropdown menu and select Edit Captions [2]:
