Course Packs (the last resort?)
What happens when you want to use something not available electronically in the library or other places? You probably need a course pack...
What is a coursepack?
Coursepacks (or course readers) are a collection of articles and chapters put together into a printed book and sold directly to students at SUperCopy. If you have content that is not available for free or that requires copyright permission then you can have that material published into a coursepack.
SUperCopy / Office of Copyright Compliance
Did you know? SUperCopy sells hundreds of course packs a year. They offer a one stop shop for faculty. Simply fill out the coursepack request form Links to an external site. and provide all the original material you would like printed in the coursepack and the Copyright Coordinator will take care of the rest. They will reach out to rightsholders, secure permission, and give you the opportunity to remove content that may be too expensive. Students buy directly and the copyright office will pay rightsholders similar to students buying a textbook. |
Digital Course Pack with Redshelf
Are you teaching a fully online class where students are not expected to be on campus? SUperCopy can also offer you a digital only course pack where students buy digital access directly online through our partner RedShelf. |
