Getting to know the Lulzbot 6

This lesson has 3 parts: Learning the parts of the machine, installing Cura, and loading filament into the machine.

The next step is to download Cura, the slicer we will be using.

Downloading and Setting Up Cura

If for some reason you computer is unable to get Cura, then make sure it is set up on a lab machine you can use.

1. Download the Lulzbot version of Cura. You can get it here: https://www.lulzbot.com/cura
2. Run the Cura Setup wizard. It will also download the Arduino driver since the Taz 6 runs on Arduino

1. Upon opening Cura for the first time, you will need to set up the printer setting. Select the Taz 6, single extruder, and the Single Extruder v2.1 since those are the ones we will be using.

Now your Cura should have the correct machine setting and be ready to print!
