Crafting Effective Rule Statements

Understanding the structure of rule statements, identifying rule statements within cases, and linking a case's rule statements to the purpose for which you read the case are essential skills that you will develop during your first fall semester.  These materials are designed to acquaint you with these skills and help you become proficient with them.  The video presentation is built around the opinion written in the criminal law case Cox v.
