DISTANCE @ SU

Distance learning courses eliminate geographical barriers for students. They consist almost entirely of online interactions with course content, professors, and fellow students. Distance learning courses at Seattle University are highly interactive. Sure, you’ll use common communication tools like email. But you’ll also have access to high-touch learning experiences with easy-to-use collaborative videoconferencing and video posts in online discussion threads.

COMMUNITY OF LEARNERS

Whichever tools are used, you'll be working closely with faculty and classmates. There will probably be times when you're asked to meet synchronously with classmates and possibly your professor using a videoconferencing tool like Zoom (you'll learn more about Zoom later).

Please view the following interactive slideshow debunking six commonly held myths about distance learning.
