COMING UP:
Oral: Persuasive Talk
Create a talk, one minute thirty (1:30) in length. Choose a nonprofit, charity, or cause that you have worked with, volunteered for, or care about. Your job is to use what you have learned about persuasion to persuade the class to donate and/or join the cause. You will speak from the heart without notes.
Criteria
1. Is the scenario well thought out? Does your scenario demonstrate a higher level of thinking and preparation for the assignment.
2. Does the scenario demonstrate an example and understanding of persuasion?
3. An evaluation of your ability to deliver a persuasive talk. This includes content, eye contact, voice delivery, and your ability to hold the interest of the class.
