BUAD 100: Class 4 Assignment Reminders

• Group Assignment due before next class:
• Come up with team name and team rules for expectations by team members. (See Canvas).  (0-25 Points)
• Group project memo due before next class: Research your assigned company on the Internet.  Include the stock ticker symbol, the latest gross revenues, the current stock price, from your firm's annual report (and other sources), and where/why this business operates globally. All group members: Be prepared to discuss the group research in the next class. (0-75 Points)

Read Chapter 3: Business in a Borderless World. Be prepared to discuss this in class.

Special Announcement

Please arrive at class in time. Tardiness is not only rude to your fellow classmates; it is very disruptive to class.  It’s disruptive to guest speakers, it's disruptive to professors, and in the future you will find it's disruptive to co-workers and bosses.

Please do not come to class late.  If you are late, wait until the break to come in the classroom.

I have had bosses yell at people for being late and lock meeting doors when someone is late, but the real issue is that it is disruptive to whoever is speaking.

When I start a class I'm thinking about you and the class content for the day. If members of this class come in late, that disrupts my concentration, which in turn affects my ability to give you the education you want.

PLEASE do not come to class late.
