Week 9 - Telling Your Story

Now it is time to decide what are the most important parts of your business, and organize how you can tell that to others effectively.  There are typically three opportunities to do that, and the process starts with a good Elevator Pitch.

1.  The "Elevator Pitch" - What you will say on first contact with somebody who does not know what your business is.  You should be able to summarize it in 30-60 seconds, and from that be invited to tell them more.

2.  The Short Explanation - This time you will have 5-10 minutes to explain why and how you are doing it.

3.  The Full Story - Now you have their attention and they want to know the details.  This is the time to show them the full business plan.
